What is Fire For Hire?

      
     "Fire For Hire"- (Ryan Brandoff) is a professional fire and UV (glow) act and performer. Based out of the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Fire for Hire is in a prime location for all of Chicagoland. Ryan has been a professional entertainer since 2009 and has no signs of stopping. Using both fire and UV light during his act, he can tailor his events to suit the needs and restrictions of his clients. What can Fire For Hire do?

 
    Ryan's main goal during his performance is to single-handedly provide you with a fire poi/staff performance, that in which you have never seen before. The props that Ryan uses is as follows.

     Fire show:  Poi / Single Staff / Double Staff
     LED show:  Poi / Single Staff

 
Some suggested event ideas, but not limited too:
     
    
Media Projects: Print, television, and film.
     Sporting Events: Half-time entertainment.
     Guest Entertainment: Clubs, bars, resorts, hotels, and cruises.
     Private Parties: Staff parties, birthdays (all ages), weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah
     Concerts and Festivals: Stage shows or sideshow entertainment.


     Ryan is an independent performer with close ties to various circus performers, other fire artists, creative people, and production staff within Chicago and throughout the midwest. In his performing history, he has built a solid and professional reputation with club owners such as
Excaliber nightclub, Berlin nightclub and the Gorilla Tango Theater; also with well-known production companies such as Johnny Stax Presents, Inc. and Key Lime Films

     Ryan is also a regular featured performer with the Chicago based Polynesian entertainment group Aloha Chicago. This group specializes in "island style" entertainment ranging from rehearsed dance ensembles to crowd participation hula dancers, lei greeters, Samoan fire acts, island musicians, and luau catering. Cost / Fees


Varies per event; Base + travel expenses + additional time of performance or between sets (if applicable)
~Base price is determined by the size of the event (people in attendance) and length of performance~

All payments are to be cash or personal/company check - no exceptions

What else should I know?

Sustainability
     I am able to arrive at a venue, set-up, perform, and clean up without aid. 

Contract
    
I asks that a contract be exchanged prior to the event to familiarize both the client and performer of the details of the event before showtime. That contract can be seen and downloaded here.

Fire & safety equipment
     I check all fire props for damages and defects before every burn. In addition to an un-light test spin to insure everything is secure. I also bring to each performance safety equipment including a fire extinguisher and fire blanket/s as required by NAFAA (North American Fire Arts Association.)

Insurance
    
I'm fully insured through Specialty Insurance Agency, in addition to being a member of NAFAA. Certificate of insurance is available upon request in .pdf format

          Personal & Advertising Injury: $3,000,000  
          General Aggregate: $5,000,000 
          Products – Completed Op. Agg.: $5,000,000

First Aid
     I am certified through Jeff Ellis & Asso. in advance First Aid, CPR & AED. 

Fuel
    
I use NAFAA approved blend white gas also called Coleman's Fuel and ultra pure lamp oil similar to "tiki torch" fuel. White gas is a bright, clean burn that lasts a short time.
